My periods are always odd - more like spotting and for some reason I have been bleeding one day it skips day 2 comes back day 3 lasts 3 days and then it ends. At least for the past 5 months I've noticed the cycle - I never paid that close attention before. And it's been pretty spot on 31 day cycle.
My last period was weird - started off the same way only 5 days late ( same time I got false positive test). Then the even stranger thing was two weeks later I had a much heavier more normal period like I use to as a kid . Tmi but I even bleed out all over a panty. That hasn't happened since I was a kid. It even lasted longer than normal.
Just odd
